So i got off of my period on July 14th and yesterday on the 18th i had sex could i get pregnant that way? Because everything im reading is saying stuff like i can and i cant. Hi Wify, I would recommend focus on getting health as well. Weight gain and being overweight can affect your body and it’s ability to get pregnant as well as PCOS, which is a double edged sword. Both have an affect on your body. Honestly, I would start integrating healthy eating, get some exercise and also if you want a second opinion on your PCOS go to another doctor to see what they say.

Hi Rita, Honestly I would check out the calculator found here based the first day of your last period and how long your cycle (from the start of one to the start of the next). The white spaces in the calendar are your “safe” days. Know though that are many factors that can lead to a slight change in ovulation so don’t use this as your only form of preventing pregnancy.
